Question on seed companies in america.

Which seed companies in America are actually breeding and crossing their own stuff. I want to pick some beans up and I don't want to give me money to a 2nd hand shop that is selling somebody else's hard work.

As you wish, but w/o seed resellers I'd guess 80% or more of seed makers would not have their products available for purchase. Also, the best seed resellers have offered fast and dependable service for years = peace of mind.

Not saying the service is bad. Just prefer to give me money to the people who are doing the work if at all possible.

If not possible then what would the general consensus be on the top 5 non shady sites to buy from. My last purchase was from crop king and so far I'm not happy with only 50% germ rate when in the past I had 100%. Trying to get most bang for my buck I guess.
