Question on runoff?

I'll try and get some. There us no discoloration of any of the leaves...just clawing/drooping.
Overwatering, N toxicity (are they too deep green?), root bound. I haven't experienced bounding, but someone said it causes droopy leaves. Odds are it's overwatering (not letting the soil dry enough)

I don't think it's overwatering...I always let them dry out pretty good until the top couple inches of the soil is dry. I'm back to thinking n tox. I added some fish bone meal to my soil when I transplanted them...which had 3% insoluble nitrogen so I think the slow release nitro is the problem.

OMFG!
pH of the run off is simply the pH of the run off! It is the most inaccurate way to attempt to figure pH.....
When you water the pH of the soil will drop and as it dries back out it will rise back up to it's actual soil pH value.....Be sure to have enough liming agent in the soil to start. FF soils need extra to start = add 1/2 cup of Dolomite lime to every bag of FFOF or FFHF..
If using synthetics - pH ingoing to 6.7 and water......soils under 6.5 tend to have poor Ca, Mg and P uptake....keep that in mind.

You do NOT have to water to run off at all - depending on what and how much/often you feed...

I would really be edgy about watering that much and letting my roots sit in wet soil as long as it would take to dry that out.....The more often you water the more o2 gets to the roots and that is VERY important.

What nutrient do you use?
How much do you use?
How often do you water? Feed?

what this guy is say. great advice. i get sick of hearing you have to water to run off crazy amounts like 10% by other people

I just went through this with a couple clones in their 2nd-3rd week of veg. Weird thing is that their mother is s nitrogen hound! I did a flush with yucca on Monday and just added some rain water today. Finally seeing new growth but the flush washed everything out b/c now the new growth is a bit light in color...like it's now N deficient. Gonna continue water only for a week and see how it goes. Maybe add some N if it gets too light green/yellow. Good luck getting those girls to grow! Although mine were in veg, they halted in growth and leaf production as well as looked ugly as hell! Almost just pulled them.
