Question on light proofing my wardrobe closet

ok I have a wardrobe closet, that I use.

All is going well and my plants love the 400 MH i have in there now.

For now I have a blanket over the front of it, so that light does not leak out of it into the room.

Light leaks come from where the doors meet and the sides of the door.

Anyway since I will be getting ready to sex them in a weak, I was looking for any ideas on how to better light proof my setup.

Although the blanket works, it does move when someone walks past it and brushes against it

i had the same problem
put black tape on the edges where it leaks out
just keep layering it inside on the edges until it works :peace:

Try small strips of black foam, the dense ones,u might have seed them in packaging.

For where the doors meet, put a thin horizontal strip of wood going up the where doors meet on the inside, then put a thin layer of foam over it. When the doors close they should press on the foam, blocking the light. The wood will be slightly in your way, but its a small price to pay for stealth.

Hope this helps.

I did think about black tape, but the way the doors open won't allow the tape to stay in place. It just tears it off.

Also where the door meet in the middle there is a gap

get yourself some poly

and maybe a tarp zip-up or some velcro

then just duct tape up the sides and over lap in the center

this should do the job.

NickBad is right on the money, black poly with those zippers, but dont be like me the first time i used the zippers i only bought 1, you need 2 to make a nice plastic door, the 6mil poly is about bullet proof and no light will come out, you can also line the walls with it as it has a 90% reflective white side
