Hey guys this may seem like a real stupid question but I have a small hydroponic setup in a PC grow box with two little netted pots filled with hydroton and some small 1.5 rockwool cubes. How do I grow from seed?do I put the rockwool in the pots surrounded with hydroton.I am sorry to be asking such a dumb question but I am a noob----thank you for your help

First of all you need to soak your rockwool in water with the PH of the water adjusted to 5.3 for 24 hours. Rockwool comes with a hi PH so doing this will adjust it to the proper PH for growing. Take your seeds and germinate them in a wet paper tower with distilled water from store if you have bad water on tap. This should take a few days for the seeds to germinat. Once the seed splits and the tap root pokes out about 1/8 of an inch, take it out and make a small pocket just big enough to fit the seed in the rock wool cube. Make sure you don't damage the root sticking out. You need to place the seen in the cube so the root points down. The best way would be to start the seed in the cube seperate from the hydroton and basket. Put the cube in a nursery tray with a humidome or some where's where you can keep it moist and humid. Let the seed take root and grow a few inches to establish a healthy plant. Then transfer to the net pot with the hdroton. That should be it. Just read up a little on the PH/Temp of the nutrient solution so your two plants can grow the best they can. I hope this helps. Good luck and happy smoking!!!!!
