question on cloning

so i took 10 cuttings about 5 days ago and i was wondering how long until they are rooted. they are in rockwhool and i am feeding them clone food. they are also under a hummidity dome with a heat mat

I get 100 % cloning results. Do not "feed" them anything man. They should just sit in their dome, really close to the flourescent light, 24 hours. No misting, no nothing. Let them be for 5 days at least then just mist the inside roof and walls of the dome and keep the cubes 30 % moist or so. After that, daily mistings. In 2 weeks you will have rooted clones if you did everything properly.

You shouldn't be feeding them until they are rooted, in my opinion. I soak the rockwool real good in a Grozyme mix, leave them alone for like at least 7 days. Only wiping off the dome and misting them daily during this time. I have had some clones take up to 20 days to root, but my average is 7 to 10 days. I even had some root in 3 days. Once they are rooted and in another medium ie: larger rockwool or promix I start to feed them.
As for that heat mat, I don't use it anymore, way too many issues with those to mention. Just maintain the room temps at 26c. Works perfect for me all the time, I get about 99% rooted.

BCbuddy's Cloning Formula

- soak your cubes in a mixture of 3 drops a gal of superthrive for 24 hours ( big bucket )

- cut from lower branches and let sit in a bowl of water ( same water from bucket ) for 15 minutes ( cut on a 45 and scrape a lil stem bark away going up from the cut to allow for more rooting surface

- now dip your stems in root stimulator and insert into cube, careful to firm the rockwool around the base of stem, gently, place in dome (misted)

- leave them for 5-6 days

- now just mist the dome every day and keep them really close to 24 hours of flourescent lighting

- two weeks approx and you have roots emerging

Yes I forgot to mention....fuck heating pads!!! never use them. My temp in my house last time was around 70 degrees, it was fine.

My temps are in the 78 to 80 fahrenheit range. I used celsius and forget that most of you on here are americans and don't know that measurement, lol. :D

Ms.Chiceh I am 100 % canadian I have just converted my thinking to farenheit for ease with temp talk. I am used to celsius for all of my life though ;)
