Soon as my current crop is done im revamping one of my flower rooms....heres the equipment listed below then the questions after

12 Radiant 8 inch reflectors
12 hardcore ballasts
12 eye hortilux 1000w hps
55 gal res is in a different room to help with hummidity
ballats are in different room mounted to a wall to help with heat
running a filter on the intake coming from outside 2 8 inch hurricane after burner fans per ever 4 reflectors. (3 rows of 4 lights)
8 light and a 4 light autopilot light controller
36k btu mini split
dehumidifier 8 hurricane wallmount fans
can filter 150 with a 12 inch inline can fan to control smell
auto pilot co2 controller with fuzzy logic
basic concrete walls ceiling and walls are panda filmed and hvac tapped to seal as good as possible.

heres the question getting ready to do co2 should i go with a 2 burner natural gas or propane
or should i use a co2 tank and regulator..i know natural gas and propane lasts longer and will be cheaper in the long run but im worried about the burner adding heat to the room i have 2 8 inch inlines per every 4 reflectors pulling air from outside through a filter then back outside to expell the heat from the reflectors and a 36kbtu single zone mini split. will that 3 ton mini split be enough to handle michigan summers, 12 vented lights....my room is 20x20 with 8 foot ceilings plan on running 48 plants per grow medical marijuana caregiver(72 plants) wife can have 60(caregiver also) so i can have my next crop vegging in my veg/clone area.

sorry for all the added info just wanted to give you every detail so i could get an honest opinion, i dont wanna have a 2nd thought with all lights running and michigan summers can be so hard to predict, sometimes its ben 48 in may on my bday snow in april on my wives 60 in december lol so hard to say whats gonna happen.

heres a quick layout of the room also any help on which way to go with exhausting the air and bringing it in would be nice ive used the windows before with a piece of plywood on them and 3 holes cut in them with 3-8inch dampers on each hole all sealed with caulk and a intake filter on there also. thinking about doing holes in the house but just worried about running the 90degree elbows on the reflector due to the only parts i can access the outside is on oppisite walls. thanks again RIU Family

I'm not in michigan, I'm in NorCal where it gets 100+ in the summer. If I'm using aircooled single ended 1K's in a sealed room, I use 4K btu of AC per light. This accounts for everything. Lights(w/ballasts in room),dehu/s, and co2 gen/s.
Without knowing your climate, there's a couple things you're planning that would MOST LIKELY allow a 3ton AC to cool 12K of light in a sealed room if it were where I'm at: Ballasts outside of room, and I really like the 2-8" fans per 4 hoods. And then there's the co2. You nailed the dilemma already between bottled and burners. Naturally, the bottled is gonna be a safer bet with that AC, but a 50 lb'er will prob last less than 2 weeks, more towards 1.5 weeks. That's if your room is sealed really good, and you don't dump it ever during lights on.
Hopefully someone from Michigan who builds and runs sealed rooms chims in, but hopefully I was able to help.
