Question of Quality

This is a question I haven't seen the answer for anywhere at all. Please forgive my extreme newbieness, but hey this is the newbie forum.

Okay, 2 part question.

1. If I plant bag seeds from a really good bag of weed, does it usually smoke like the actual weed in the bag and does it usually get you close to the same high? Or can this be extremely altered depending on how you grow it?

2. If I make sure to get rid of the males instantly upon recognition, and I fertilize/water my plants properly, and give them plenty of light, etc...can I make the weed a lot better than the buds they came from?

Once again, sorry for the sheer ignorance. I'm so new to this. Thanks!

The weed you grow from a seed from a bag could easily be as good or even better than the bag it came from - it depends on genetics and environment.
Can you grow some killer weed from bad seed? the answer is hell yes! But unlike seed bank seeds, it is a crap shoot. But bag seed is a great way to learn - you may end up with some awesome bud and if you kill them - no money down the drain.

you separate the males so they can't pollinate the females. pollinated females = seeds (lots and lots of seeds) - non-pollinated females = no seeds (sinsemilla)

Great, thanks for the advice!
You're welcome. However i would add the following warnings (your mileage may vary) bag seed is an unknown ... the fact there are seeds in the weed does not bode well for good genetics and/or growing conditions. Bag seeds are notorious the number of males vs. females and I've watched many bag seed grows suffer from the hermaphrodite condition.

My advice is - learn with bag seeds - work out the bugs in your system and bring your grow to at least the flowering stage for experience. But keep your expectations with bag seed very, very low.
