Question from an Old new member new name

Can my light schedule bea tad bit off for a week or so?My plant is still in an early veg stage and now that ive got more light its growing quicker.(common sense) But i didnt plan ahead whilst getting the lights and dont have a timer.So its left me to the point that im running on 6 hours of sleep a night.(roughly)trying to keep a steady light schedule. Its hard work but at no point has it gone with less than 16 hrs a day since ive got the lights.It varies from anything between 16-18 and a half hours a day no less but sometimes like 16hr 33mins and 17hrs 12min. Is this problematic or upsetting my plants at all? or am i good so long as it doesnt go below 16hours of light.

Ill toss some pics of the leaves up in the mornin.but in a description its got 8 leaves all together...4 that look normal and healthy with ridges and 3 ''fingers'' each.2 with ridges but no fingers. and the ones im curious most about are the bottom 2.there was some serious stretching in the begining from lack of light other than window sun.when i repotted i buried the stem up to those 2(only ones at the time) and they havnt grown even a tiny bit in 2 weeks-1week in lights.They are curled at the edges into almosta bowl shape. have no ridges or fingers and are almost round. even gimped its kinda cute in its own special way

Somehow I get the feeling the lights on and off should be on the same schedule, why no timer they're cheep enough? btw welcome back.

On the bright side, the sun isn't necessarily on a timer. But if you are manually flippin lights, it leaves you open for mistakes. Like DeeTee said, a good digital timer can be had for 10-15 bucks.

i agree with above. get a timer and use 24/0 untill you do. messing around with lighthours is not recommended

have you uploaded pictures without removing metadata?? some cameras sava GPS location in metadata... actually there are so many people here who dont clean their pictures and dont even know they should. imo its the way most people fuck up. they can be cleaned with simple programs like exifcleaner(free) and takes about 1 sec. If you want next to 100% safety use that in conjunction with TOR browser

alirghty folks im rolling on 24/0 till i can grab a timer thanks a bunch. my babys lighting has been all sorts of messed up since day one ...i hadnt actualy planned anything out i just threw a seed in a paper towel as a joke when me and a buddy were tokin and it sprouted and grew in window light for a week, then under a low watt cfl bulb for a week and now ive got it under the cfl and a 3ft flourescent soon to be another 2ft light for the back. shes about 3 weeks old all in all been through probably 4-5 transplants, had some serious stretching and has a few what i would call derpderp leaves but within 4 days of being under the flourescent shes sprouted four new leaves and has grown about half an inch.so id say shes headed to healthy days ahead.
One thing im worried about is that the top half of the ONE stem on ONE leaf is a purple color and in certain light the tip of the leaf itself has a darker shade to it. i asked the old fart next door and he says its an N defficiency wouldnt that affect more than half a stem and a leaftip though?(im also using a high N% fert so idk) ill throw some pics up

some pics of my baby. 1+2 are just shots of the pure sexiness =) and 3+4 are shots of my derp leaves. number three is just a rounded leaf with no ''Fingers'' at all but has some ridges down it and number 4 or the leaves down at the very bottom nearthe soil where i replanted it aftersome stretching.They dont have any fingers or ridges and havnt grown at all in 2 weeks. theyre just there like little baby hands swayin in the breeze lol
on another note there are 2 tiny itty bitty things that look like pistols growing from the Y shape from one of the branches near the stalk of the plant. Isnt it to early to be showing signs of sex?!? when they get bigger ill get a clear shot of them and get your opinions on them

i hope i dont have a fraking maple tree growing in my closet instead of a skunky lady lmfao id kick a hole in the wall after all the trouble its put me through

What you are seeing is new growth. Those will become branches in the near future.
