are you kiddin mewith that...to find the best mother you should re-veg the plantsthen clone...why waste time on un-necessery clones from weaker plants...also if done right you can re-veg your plant up to 3 times....

Speaking from experience, revegging can be iffy at best. Success is largely determined by how much greenery you leave on her at harvest. Treat her like a vegging plant, it can take a while for her to switch gears from full on flowering to full on vegging. I have experienced dormancy for anywhere from a week to 1½ months.

It certainly does not dimish genetic integrity at all.

Revegged plants in my experience, are gangly masses. A plan of taking cuttings from her is the only thing I do with revegged plants. The cuttings behave normally once rooted, then you can ditch the ugly bitch .

So far as re-vegging for a harvest........forget it!
Peace

What a load of rubbish.

The only reason you should re-veg a plant is to get a second crop from it. You certinaly don't do it to take clones from, they should have been taken in vegetative growth. Taking clones from a reveged plant dimishes its genetic integrity, stresses, weakens it, makes it harder for cuts to root and in some instances diminishes potency and yield.

You can reveg at pretty much any time up to and including harvest time. Some folks actually get a second harvest of sorts out of plants by doing just that. Put them back on a 18/6 schedule. It will take a long time and you will have some messed up looking plants but it can be done. Yours at only eleven days won't be affected too badly. They will slowly start to grow again and the current flower pistils will remain or slowly be engulfed by the growing plant. I would wait a week and then take cuttings. You can use any and all parts of the plant to use as clones as long as the pieces include at least one leaf node with some leaves showing. The leaves can be tiny and the thing will still grow. I have seen some awesome plants from chunks of stem with just a leaf node showing. The are easy to stick into your cloning material, stand up straight, and root just as fast or faster than a tip-top.

Yeah I think things got a little off track here in this discussion.
I have no intention to reveg after harvest.
It is nice to know that it is possible to do so and take clones.
I doubt I will do that anytime soon.

I Pulled the plant about 4 days after noticing sex.
I was not going to use it for clones I was going to bud it along with the other three.

A light fell on it and I decided to pull it for clones.

Since then It has thrived I have it in the bathroom and set it in the windows.
It gets constant light.
The clones are doing great as well.

I have a root starting on one of them.

I plan to use her for atleast 10 more clones.

I expect to grow another mother from one of the clones.

2 out of the 4 have roots and the other 2 have little nubs starting.

I want to wait until the roots get slightly more developed.

I am thinking the bubbler is going to make cloning much simpler.

These four clones are going into soil mix in about a week or less.

I will be taking 4-6 more clones when I put the first set in the dirt.
This second set will be going into a bubbler and then on to a dwc setup.

Smoke and choke and smoke and then toke

I put all four clones into soil just now.
Each one had a little roots.

I used vitamin, advil, and tylenol plastic bottles.
That was the smallest container I could think of that I had on hand.
I cut off the tops of the plastic bottles and cut four holes in the bottom of each.

I filled the little bottles half of the way up with soil.
I used a pen to poke a hole in the soil.
I placed each clone in and filled the rest of the way with soil and gently packed them.

I soaked the soil in each one.
I misted them one more time.

I decided to go ahead and take 3 more clones.
These were much more mature than the 1st set.
The branches are longer and thicker.
I may take another later to make it an even number.

I have decided to leave the planted clones with the other clones and the mom until they perk back up from the heavy watering.

I think I will introduce them to the grow lights here in a few days.
I am taking my time with them so they do not get stunted or burned with to much light.
