question about watering during flowering phase

I used to water my plants every three days (in vegitation phase). They've been in flowering stage for the past three weeks. This morning I checked them and they were wilted. It seems like I have to start watering them every other day. Last time I watered them was on Tuesday morning (12:00 AM is when the loght turns on). Is there gonna be any complication since they are wilted and since they'll stay that way until tonight (morning for the plants) that I water them?

Thank You

4.5 gallon pots
the plants are about 5 feet tall.
but the soil is not moist and that is strange, since I watered them on Tuesday Morning at 12:00 AM. and I thought they required less water since they are in flowering stage.

sounds rootbound, the amount of plant material above the pot is pretty much the same below the pot, 4.5 gallon sounds a bit too small for large plants like yours. Have you changed any of the ventilation? temps the same? hotter temps will cause more use of water, as will getting heat off lights.

You could transplant, but it might stress the plant out a bit.

You should water them right away if they are wilted, no sense making the problem worse.

As a matter of fact I wanted to do it this morning (which is almost sleeping time for the plants). So in order to water them early in the morning (12:00 AM) I have to wait for 5 more hours.
And you're correct. The temp sometimes gets to 86F and I've reduced the humidity to 25% (for flowering stage). I'll water them tonight.

Thanks again.
