Question about using kelp meal in a vermicompost bin

I picked up this kelp meal from a local feed supply store. It's package as livestock feed and is 100% organic kelp. I didn't notice this at 1st but it has 750 PPM of iodine in it. Will that be safe for the worms? Also would I be able to spread this on my garden or in my pots?

Here's a pic of the bag

All kelp contains iodine. Iodine is beneficial to plant growth. Like anything else though too much would be a bad thing. The amount that you're introducing through the use of kelp is perfectly fine and is not harmful.
