Question about trichomes and harvesting

When you look at your trichomes to deside when to harvest and flush do the percentages of amber vs cloudy to watch for change if a cultivar is supposed to be higher in CBD than THC?

I have a plant that was flipped on May 20th. She is already showing about 40+% amber, 10% cloudy and 50% clear. She still has white pistils.

I grow in a greenhouse in the sun. I may be mistaking clear for cloudy though. I took another look with my scope and it is more like 40% amber, 30% cloudy and 30% clear.
Does this mean she just has more CBD or is she ready to harvest even though she still has white pistils?

And ya the ratios dont really make sense because she isnt all that far along. Maybe 6 weeks.
The amber is deffinitly amber, its a darker honey color.

I wish i had a microscope on my camera so i could show you.

Yo flowerpower give this a try, use ur smartphone camera over your loop not perfect but kinda works. See pics

Are you looking at the sugar leaves or the actual buds? I don't see any way that that plant is 40% amber. The percentage is of the plant, not of just one single spot you are looking at.

Either way the cbd and thc are both developing along side each other. Harvesting the plant when it is finished growing and properly matured is still your goal.

I havent actually taken an average but this is looking directly at the bud, and based on a view of multiple spots on each of the 5 colas. But precise percentages aside, im assuming this plant is just high in CBD. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks.

Why do you think its high in cbd? Is it a cbd specific variety?

Amber trichomes don't equal CBD, thats not how it works.
