Question about transplanting and plant growth.

Okay, so currently, i have 5 plants.

Im a bit limited on space for my grow and my growbox i made is quickly becoming too small for my plants.

Im going to be transplanting them soon, and i was wondering.

A. ) Would i be able to plant 2-3 plants in 1 3-4gallon pot? ( i understand roots could become intertwined, leaving plants to fight for nutrients and water ) Can it be done?

B. ) I don't have a timer for my lighting, and so far i havent missed turning the lights on or off when they're suppose to as far as my lighting schedule is concerned, but i'd like to know. Will missing a couple hours mess with the plants negatively?

( The plants are still in Veg state )

a) don't do it. use more smaller pots, shorten veg time
b) prob okay, but get a timer. they are cheap!

Can it be done? Sure can be done, but if you are asking I would assume that your growing abilities or experience is limited right now. So, your yield more than likely will not be as good as if you cut back on the number of plants and kept them to 1 per container. They are going to take much more care, more than likely pruning to keep their growth from hurting each other. Now you come to the lights, well one time missing lights out or lights on hurt usually not, going to depend on the individual plants sensitivity to light change. That being said you are setting yourself up to be very unhappy about growing in this manner......Dig down deep in your pockets buy a timer, man you don't have to have a fancy digital one but you need to scrape $10 together for a timer. Nothing better than a successful grow and not much more depressing than screwing one up.
So my advice stay within your space and buy a time so you can enjoy your labors. By the way welcome to RIU hope you enjoy.

yes you can throw those plants into the same container. but your making a huge mistake. the container I hardly big enough for 1 plant .lol you can get a baby pool load that up. smallest pot I would use with a 1 foot veg before I entered flower . for 5 plants. 20 gallons smart pot. would work just fine. and for veg with no timer. they are not that picky and why not just use 24 hour veg no need to shut lights off . for flower you need to be on the second every day . and if your serious about having 5 plants in 1 20 gallon pot. I stress to you the importance of keeping the soil 100 % correct wetness . or the ones on the sides will dry up and dye . this will be a challenge . will have to over water to get all the soil on top of the 20 gallon pot wet so all the roots will have a chance to get water . if your not a pro you will fail . baby pool much better . or half or 1 gallon pots per plant would be much better choice. I dick a round with this shit all day to see what will happen. that's how I know

Give those girls all the root space you can! 5 Gal pots all the way. Just tie those bitches down. Spend the 12 bucks on a timer. It'll pay off.

Thanks for the help guys! :D
These plants arent meant to get enormous, and the yield isnt really too important, Growing is more of a fun little hobby to help pass the time :D
Im Perfectly okay with pruning up my plants later on as they grow.

The main reason i ask about sharing a pot is, im more than 100% sure 3 of these 5 are males, but i wont know for sure for another week or two.
These babies are on a 12/12 Light schedule to try and pop them into Flowering asap.
:D Luckily, the 2 i believe to be females, are very very healthy, no foilage burns and very nice leaves growing. ( Already starting their 3rd sets )
But some of the plants have minor foliage burns, and im thinking its cause the soil got too dry.
