question about t5's

I'm not getting the math...how long is the T-5 and how many bulbs? 192w divided by 32w is 6. Personally I use an 8 bulb 4' T-5 and if you do the math (a lot of math in weed growing LOL) I could get 8 6" pots comfortably to start, then I add the 4' 4 bulb T-5 and spread 'em out.
Have you already bought the equipment? It also depends on your purpose. If it's a personal grow the obvious answer is enough for you :) What's the plan for flowering? I guess you decided not to use mixed spectrum bulbs...personal choice.

Yea there are six bulbs total 32w each about 3 to 4 ft long and no I didn't buy it I got it for free lol I got a hps light so I was thinking about vegging with the t5 in one room and flower with the hps in the other room for a constant harvest

It's 4ft, and yes it will work for veg. HO fixtures/bulbs are much better @ 54w bulb, but

Consider using it during flower, too, for the blues, as hps is lacking in blue spectrums

Like PetFlora said if you can put 54w tubes in there that's be fine...if the unit is OK with them. I have a T-5 8 bulb with 5 6500K and 3 2700K bulbs for veg. If you want to mix spectrum with the HPS you can buy some larger 6500K CFL and put them along side...maybe using "Y" sockets. Just a thought. You can also use the T-5 for flower, but personally I doubt you'll be happy with the yield and you'd have to buy another one for perpetual...not sure I'd do that...
