Hello. First post, 2nd casual grow season for me.
All hypothetical of course......
I'm a casual grower, using garbage seeds from friends who give them to me. Next year for sure I will definitely get some proper beans.
So.... my setup. In the yard, I really only have one small section of area that gets proper sunlight. There is another section that gets 'ok' sunlight. I am in a bit of a pickle because I didn't plant them in a orderly fashion as I should have.
SO naturally I have planted in these two sections.... although there are a few other sections that i have planted with minimal sunlight just to see what happens.
But in my good section, I have 4 plants..... Three that have grown to about 6 feet, and 1 that is about 4-4.5 feet in height.
In my 'ok' section, I have 4 plants, they are about 4-4.5 feet also.
I have various other plants through out the yard but ignore those for now.
Now.... my plants have just started to flower. It's probably too early to tell, but luckily it looks like maybe only 1 or 2 of my plants in the 'ok' section may turn out to be male(this is just a guess based on how they look so far). All the plants in the 'good' section so far appear to all be females. Obviously, my goal is to make sure the females stay that way..... without throwing out the males.
My goal is to move the females in the 'ok' section over to the section with the good sunlight if I have room. But space is tight. Now I have other places in my yard where I can move plants around, but the sunlight is very minimal.
My question is basically, if I have to move a female to a section with minimal light.... will it still flower properly? I am less concerned with the males, but same question applies.
My thoughts are that the lack of sunlight won't affect flowering, as I understand it that is how you get plants to flower by giving them less light anyways?
I am just wanting to be sure that I move the females far enough away, while still making sure they finish properly. The ability to move plants as needed would be nice, and not having to worry about them budding the way they should.
Attached are the pics, even though probably not necessary for my question
..... The first 3 showing the basic layout. The next 4 showing the crowns of the plants in the 'good' section. And the last 4 showing the crowns of the 'ok' section.
