question about soil

I am going to start a small grow soon. I plan using a mix of coco coir and fox farm ocean forest soil. I was wanting to know when using nutes, would I use coco coir nutes or soil nutes?

If you go soil ,chuck a layer of silica rocks at the bottom of each pot then chuck in your coco an soil mix the silica rocks are great for drainage and also beef up your plants full on against basically everything

Shouldn't your question be: Do I use coco nutes or soil nutes?
