question about SOG

Hey, Im doing a SOG grow, and was confused about 1 part about the cutting of lower branches.

Am i JUST suposed to cut only the lower 1/3 of plant?
Or am i suposed to cut ALL side branches no matter where?

im in the same boat cause iv got some long ass branches that are alot higher up than the lower 1/3?

I have many branches comming out of my main stem, Do i cut them off? Or only stick to cutting the lower 1/3?
