this has probably been asked before but does this site record ip addresses and whatever other tracking methods they have these days? Any computer literate person know anything about this? so many people seem to post with out a worry... just looking for some peace of mind

unless you're showing off a grow that pulls 20,000$, you really have little to worry about. it would cost too much to stake out a private med grower that produces a pound a year....
 
if you are paranoid about posting on the web about your activities then you shouldn't even be on the net. do you think about these things when you download music? and that actually gives out more of a chance to be arrested. seeing that they tend to go after down loaders more then people that post off these sites. for all they no we are a bunch of bullshitters trying to look cool.
 
this site is secure, most of them are, if you are paranoid use a proxy. I hear you though I belonged to a certain site for like 2 months and it wasn't secure even though the owner said it was...I didn't appreciate him lieing so I left, it's now secure, lol. This site is OK rollitup runs a tight ship for sure.
 
Due to the fact that you even asked the question should tell you that you ought to limit what you do and say on this site and/or just not visit these type of sites period. Sites such as this are good for research and gathering information (nothing wrong with that is it?)
 
I don't know what a proxy is ill be sure to check it out. Im really not too worried.. just never saw anyone say anything about it. I stand behind my actions and am prepared to face the consequences what ever they may be.

No one gets arrested for downloaded music. Just massive fines... massive.

This server isn't really 'secure', your IP(among other identifiable data) is definitely logged. This site is ran out of USA, and subject to California law(pretty sure it's hosted out of Cali), Federal law(the real bitch), and international law. Which means warrants(federal or state) are definite possibilities, and your identity could be a 'click' away for law enforcement.

Most US ISPs will cooperate without a warrant.

Just remember, everything you post is indexed on every major search engine. Don't put the pieces together for anyone, and you'll probably be safe.

It's really fucking naive to think cops don't visit this site.
