question about required CFM

I have a flowering room that is about 6' x 3' and 8 ft tall. I have a 4" carbonaire filter mounted and hooked to a 100 CFM squirrel cage fan. the duct length from the filter to the fan is only about 2-3 feet long and there are no bends in the ducting. I have the room sealed (not tightly, there are enough leakes to pull air in) with 2 layers of black polyvinyl sheeting and have a duct fan brining air in to the room on the opposite side of the room than where the exhaust is.

Question, Is this fan enough to pull the air through the filter adequately to help reduce odor?

I'm only beginning week 2 of flowering 2 plants that are about 26" tall, so I can't really smell anything outside of the room yet.

You have a fan bringing air in ... and your filter connected to another fan is sucking out the warm air and the oder ?.. is that correct ?

If so ... Then as long as your extraction duct is going to outside ( high up pref ) it should be fine

2 plants should not give off to much smell , A good way to test it is , Get a really strong solid air freshener and pop it in your room near your filter ... then go to the end of your extraction duct ...and take a sniff

yes, that's correct Vento. thanks man, I didn't want to spend the $150+ for a inline fan that's rated at 190 CFM, but would if I had to. appreciate the quick response!
