Question about outdoor

I have a train wreck out side in a 45 gallon smart pot. It's about 4 feet tall and 4 feet wide with bud all over it. only thing is that it seems like it is taking forever for the buds to faten up compared to my indoor. is that normal?

I'm seeing the same thing this year. I seeded mine, and I guessed that's why its taking longer for her to fatten up. Not really sure there is anything we can do about it. I have grown outdoors twice before and my main cola got to the size of a soda can.

Trainwreck is a Sativa(or Sativa dominant hybrid depending on breeder) it can take up to 3 months to fully flower depending on pheno. I also have some Trainwrecks(among other strains) and they are doing okay. Most Outdoor plants finish around october AKA (croptober)

Yea slow flowers this year im guessing middle of Oct or near end of Oct before mines is done. I've talked to several others (personal friends) saying the same thing. It may be because of the Equinox, but trust me my dude alot of ppl have same type of issue.

Check the daylight hours for your location online. Your plants will flower before the hours hit 12/12 exactly but it still depends on your location and how many daylight hours you get. I'm still getting over 13 hours here and my photoperiod plants are in the very early stage of budding , Ill be looking to harvest in late Oct or early Nov.

Mine are right on schedule here in Michigan. But with climate change..I guess it depends where your Garden is.

I agree with 12-12 is pretty irrelevant outdoors . We don't hit 12-12 here until Thanksgiving ..Everything is done 2-3 weeks before that.

Generally speaking I'd agree, but it could be a consideration for people around the equater.
That is right and a good point. Isn't the shorter day length along the equator the reason Equatorial satjvas struggle to finish here?

Yes, some people have learned the hard way it's hard to harvest some equatorial strains if the weed is frozen solid outside in December. The best laid plans can get derailed by trying to force mother nature.

Luckily because the underground free market cannot be held completely in check by prohibition there are all kinds of cross bred strains brave freedom seeking people have perfected that will finish in most areas, even the far north if you are selective. I like to think of all the possibilities we'll have when the prohibitionists finally go away, the pricks.
