With a NFT system do you leave the pump running 24/7? Or do you run it 1 minute on 5 minutes off?

NFT can be done either way but there's more explosive growth from a timed intervals watering due to root growth. When roots dry slightly they grow looking for water. If there laying around all the time in the water their susceptible to disease and retarded growth,unless solution is kept at 68* full of oxygene.
