Question about modifying fuct method

I've been looking into fuct perpetual and have found myself wondering what the purpose of dividing the perpetual flower room trays is. why not just have one big (modular?) table? I thought about doing something like that with a bubbled DWC but just growing them on a shelf descending each generation by a few inches. You won't lose a foot of grow room height for such a setup either because it will keep one flat canopy instead of fuct's four which would be easier to light evenly across the generations. Every two weeks each shelf descends a step and the bottom shelf is harvested and the new clones are planted up on the top shelf. Keeping the canopy even across the generations also lets you keep the lights dropped a foot or two at harvest/rotate and then lift them daily of course but you gain the ability to have it act as one grow space while requiring less of a range required for lifting lights through and they all stay the same height.

Anyway, that's what i hope it looks like and I'm wondering if it sounds reasonable or what I might be missing?

Kinda like this?

I grow in totes DWC perpetual harvest on 9 week strains.(every 3 weeks I chop)
I have 12 totes under 2000 watts.
The totes are stacked 2 high - until they need to be dropped when they get too close to the cool tubes. You can see a few on the floor in the pics I think.

I got my inspiration while ingesting Al B.'s perpetual thread as well...Must be something he inspires...

I've got most of the kinks worked out of it if you want to chat about some of your ideas....

Not to sure about this. For a start al uses 120L res for one table, are you going to run a 500L tank? Be like a swiming pool
