question about LSD

Are you 14 and planning on taking LSD?

I personally wouldn't recommend it but I can't see what damage it would do to a 14 year old that it wouldn't do to a 40 year old.

I don't know man, its not fun being adult, it just seems that way when we are at school.
Acid, if anything will propel you on that route. At 14 you should ba chasing girls, and drinking alcohol behind the shed.

Physically you'd be fine. But these things work a LOT harder on your mind and the way you think than say, alcohol or prescription pills. Psychological issues are every bit as real and dangerous as physical problems. No one here can make you do/or not do it, but if you were a smart kid at all you would wait... I recommend graduating high school first bro.

At 14 you should not be taking mnd altering substances unless you are an exceptional 14 year old. Not good to explore alternate realities unless you have a decent understanding of your primary one.

Physically no. I was tripping at 14 as well... If you have a sparked interest in it your going to do it anyways, I honestly recommend doing it, age is but a number. You'll have realizations that will teach you things, maybe make you grow up faster.. But really its not that important, you'll find later that being 14 is something you miss.. I wish I was that young.. Parents house, parents food, no job..

Doing too much tripping will mess with you a little bit.. Its really pretty, and fun, feels awesome.. Just be careful man

Any powerful experience and you will never be the same. Graduating college will change you. Boot camp will change you. LSD can break down walls but at your stage in life your walls are still being constructed, so what will be left after you knock them down? Not a good idea. A bad trip and you can kiss some of the "carefree" aspect of your youth goodbye. Enjoy your teenage years while they last and re-visit the topic of if you should or should not at a later date.

If only. If I could go back to 14. Live those times over. I would realize the importance of my youth, and bask in the ease and carefree aspect of it all. Aside from a few gliches. I've had a really great childhood. At that age you can be totally sober and just be high as hell off of life. Just school, hobbies, friends and easy ass life. Them were the days.

Any powerful experience
you know you're right. The last time I had a chance to do it, it had hairspray on it. Worst dart game ever. I liked the stuff but i I wouldn't use it again. I've had so great some great experiences on it. like getting home from Atlanta and hiding out in a shed, sitting under a tree at the looping starship, seeing Peg Philips on CBS.
I never hallucinated on it was more like living in a shaky room.

You'll have the best and worst moments of your life, spread out over a few hours...

I've halucinated plenty on the good stuff back in the day.

I have one more thing to say to the 14 year old who asks if he should take LSD. The fact that he comes here and asks knowlegeable people tends to indicate that he may in fact be ready.

But if this 14 year old really wants to lend great power to his experience he will do this:

Discover from friends it it is indeed LSD and about how strong it is. If it meets the criteria, purchase as much as he is able, package it carefuly and well and then wait - until he is 18 before he takes any of it.

There is grace and power in patience, patience is the art of knowing when to stop waiting. Most of us do not learn the value of patience until a significant portion of our lives are over and in that failure we have lost many opportunities to excercise that patience. We have foolishly wasted the gratification that comes with forebearance. One could spend 4 years in mental preparation for a life changing event and through that preparation greatly enhance the experience.

(this stuff is so rare that he cannot be assured that he will ever come across it again but he will be assured he will have it when the time is right)

Unless he has a -78°C freezer it's unlikely it would last that long. But I agree with the sentiment.

Anybody ever dropped any named rain? I've never heard it. Me and my friends got lightning bolt blotter. I got it from this kid at 14 too. :leaf: Heck he was was even cool enough to leave a poster with blonde dreadlocks, cop glasses, and red beads at the ends.

Is that truly necessary? Or one of those absolute statements, ie: If you want no degradation, it must be in a -78 freezer. If you can accept some degradation (to be quanitifed by someone other than me), then the typical storage instructions (no light, no air) will allow it to last X amount of time.

Note: You may need to quadruple your "dose" in 4 years to account for degradation.

Is this a reasonable path, even though it it is not perfect?

Note2: Yes, I was doing blotter at 13.
No, I don't think it was a good idea.

Jesus... I hardly knew where to get buds at 14. Let a lone Lucy. I still kick myself in the ass everyday for trying pot at age 13, way too fucking young.

But it's not like a 14 year old will listen to people on the internet, he is a TEEN now. They know everything remember.
