You can use your shop Flouros if you want, you have to Veg indoors with 6500K color temp, then switch to 3000K or lower color temp for Flower.
Yields are clearly better with HID for bloom especially. I have shop flouros for Veg, and I just ordered a 600W HPS kit for Flower. While I am new I've been lurkin here for months and basically that's about the only affordable way to go. my 600w kit is just over $300 shipped with Digital Ballast and MH bulb for grow. I could have bought a 1000W for just a bit more but I don't need it and the electric bill doesn't either ;) Oh yeah lighting a 8X2 grow area. the CFL crew has great results read there posts man!

yeah as long as your just in veg ans its getting atleast 18 hrs. thats should be the only reason it comes in. if u have close to 18/6 in natural day light. if not bring it in for the 18 hrs
