Question about lighting..

I was at Home Depot looking for the best light, they had CFL 150 watt and 2,600 lumens.

I asked the guy who worked there and he said they had a speical CFL bulb the was 75 watt 1,200 lumens and had the right colors from the electromagnetic specturm in it.

I was just wondering which was best.

Too vague. Sorry. You want 6500k, and to supplement with 2700k during flowering.

My 42w is 2800 lumens.
My 26w is 1600 lumens.

The 150W was 2,600 lumens.
The 75W special was 1,200 lumens.

Which is better?
I didin't understand your post.

So the colors of the spectrum don't matter at all?

From nothing more than wattage and lumens to go on. Yes, more lumens, same light type, more lumens is better.
