Question about last week of flowering (PICS)

So I've had this plant outside under the sun up until about 5 days ago when it got crappy and cold outside (50 during the day and low 30's at night with constant rain ) She's halfway through her 9th week of flowering and I know she's got at least another week or so left in her (the trichs are literally JUST starting to form. Up until now I thought this was going to be schwag :joint:).

As you can see there are tons on white hairs and new flowers, so I think there is still a lot of weight to be put on. But it's pretty much gonna be cloudy and crappy from here on out. So it just sits in my window waiting for at least a little break in the clouds (hasn't been one for 5 days).

My question is how will this affect my bud production and what is your opinions' on what I should do? WIll the bud's continue to mature? Will the flowers still fatten up? Or will all this stop and the trichs will just turn amber and I will harvest fluffy bud??? +++++rep for answers.kiss-ass

The first 2 pics are the plant in question, the next 2 are of my other plant that I harvested last night :mrgreen:bongsmilie:weed: (mmmmmmmmm........eye candy)

What about putting her outside again...and setting up a clear plastic sheet over her...so she still gets the light and sun when its there but stays dry,if it rains....?

Hi,

Yes, if you can leave the plant outside for another week, go for it. Though there is little light, there is still enough to activate the plant's photosynthetic processes. That means the buds will still continue to beef up a bit, and the trichome production will still be in full swing. Stop water with nutrients if you haven't already and flush with just water and a sugar or nectar additive if you have one. Also, the trichomes will continue to turn amber through this whole process.

If I were you, I would buy a cheap microscope (~14.00$ from Radio Shack) and harvest the plant whenever the trichomes start to turn 50% amber.

On a second note... I didn't notice that you said the temperatures were getting in the 30's. This could be potentially bad for the plant. At temps that low, the plant will cease growth. However, since this is only happening at night, you could try leaving it out. Like I said, during the day, it will continue to flower. And from the low night temperatures, you could possibly get your whole plant to turn purple. Purple bud can be fun sometimes.

It gets as much light in the window as it's gonna get at night, sorry I'm not putting it outside, 40+ mph wind and rain. It's a small 2' plant that I've been bringing inside every night since sept 15th cuz it was 80's in the day but 30's at night.

I have a 250w hps over some clones and my Auto blueberry that I also had outside. If I set my plant next to the light for the 12 hrs would that be more sufficient???

I do have one of those microscopes, it's very handy!!!

Yeah, use the light for sure. Just make sure that it's in the DARK for a full 12 hours each cycle.
