Question About Household Nitrogen Supplement?

My leaves are turning yellow on some plants and those plants are still looking healthy but the leaves are yellow. I have plenty of other plants under the lights but only a couple are turning a lemon color. What I would like to know is : Is there a household item that I can put in the soil as a supplement until I can mix some bat guano into the soil? I read that you can make regular tea and pour it into the soil for a nitrogen supplement but I don't really see how that would work. Any suggestions?

what are you using for a base nute or ant plant food should have nitrogen in it
I was given some free nutes that I use but they're pretty old from what I was told. I use the GH Flora Trio. The NPK in the Micro is only 5/0/1 and the Gro is 2/1/6 so the N isn't all that high. Like I said not all are yellow. Most of the bunch look really good but there are those select few that look like their lemons of the bunch. If there's anything I can add to the soil to just those few or even water or spray the leaves with I would love to know what would do the trick. They are about a week into flower as of right now.

I have the very same issue. I added some nutrients yesterday, and I'm spraying them to give them a bit more water to the leaves. I'm hoping it will work. Sorry I don't have any suggestions, well except go get something high in Nitrogen.

I went to the hardware store and looked for the miracle grow nitrogen and found 1 with 18 N but it wasn't cheap and I don't really want to buy something if I can use something from around the house. I read fish emulsions too but no fish emulsions here. Too cold outside to go out fishing lol. I have a 35 gallon tote with bat guano in it but it got wet this last rain and I'm wondering if I need to get more or if I should take a little of the water out of it and mix it with some water and feed it to the plants in question. Any suggestions?

Na man I can afford it and shit I just would rather not if I can use something I already have... Bat guano is high in nitrogen right? Can I give it a small dose of guano tea for the nitro boost?

Bat Guano can be both, depending on the diet of the bays. Fruit eating bats generally shit higher amounts of P, while their insect eating cousins tend to crap higher amounts of N.
I'd say the Guano is still good. Make a "tea" and feed that if you're worried.

Is that yellowing confined to the lower leaves? If so, that is probably natural. They tend to shed them when they no longer need them.
You getting them up into the mid-section? (I have 2 now that have one bright yellow leaf each.)

Are you vegging? I'm gonna assume you are in flower, and about 2 or more weeks in. That being the case, it could very well be a Cal Mag deficiency. Give them a dose or 2 of Epsom Salts (1 Tbsp/Gal) and see what that does. They should green up in no time.

CalMag deficiency killed off most of my first 2 grows. It was doubly bad because it happened TWICE to me. Being the newbie I was, I hit the forums and was immediately beset by so many conflicting "diagnoses". CalMag was one of the prevalent recommendations, so the third go around, I used the CalMag and I haven't had that same prob since.

I can give that a try but first I will do a small dose of the guano tea. I am 1 week into 12/12 and the leaves on 2 or 3 of the ladies are yellow even on the tops. The stems are a redish color also so that was the main indication it was nitrogen. This is my 5th year of growing and I haven't grown in years so I'm a bit rusty but just a matter of time lol My journal can be found in my sig. When my girls' lights turn on I will take and upload some pictures. Until then :D happy smokin.
