question about harvest CBD plant

Hey friends, I am flowering a CBD plant from seed. I was wondering if the procedure for checking trichomes are the same as regular strains. They look the same to me. so far moslty milky w a couple amber scattered around. Thanks for any help!

There is different opinions on when to harvest. Some say when milky, some say before. I have no idea when is best, I harvested it as if regular strain.
