I was wondering if it will matter if i leave my fogger on 24/7? it has a small led on it but i covered it up with a piece of electrical tape but i know people with sprinkler systems usually turn them on twice a day or so for 15 minutes should I do this or just leave it on all the time? anyone have any experience with this?

Kind of depends on if you think you need it on or rather if the humidity levels are what you want them to be when it is on 24/7 doesn't it?

I assume you use it for humidity purposes so if leaving it on 24/7 gives you a desired humidity range then by all means leave it on right? If not then you'd have to tweak it around some by using an aeroponic type timer that would allow you to cycle say 5-15 minutes every 45 minutes or something to that effect. I found when I left mine on the humidity levels could easily rise up past 80% so I used a digital timer and had it on during light cycles for 15 minutes every hour. It didn't give me exactly what I wanted as far as RH goes but I didn't have an aeroponic timer.

no i use it to water, i have a hydro setup with 2 plants in it and i just have the fogger down in the root system with the water so the container is full of nutrient rich mist and the roots up towards the top of the bucket get water also or mist i should say

i have the 5 gallon bucket but it says if you clean it every 3 months by running it in vinegar or something it will last for a long time and it came with an extra ceramic disc but ill probably just run it manually by plugging it in whenever i want to my last one i had running all the time the ac adapter melted but they replaced it for free
