question about fem seeds and seed bank prices

I'm looking for some good genes instead of bagseed. I was thinking of getting some expensive feminized seeds I have seen some reserva pravada chemgog cross that like 19$ a seed and 1 other and then getting some other strains to grow first. I want to just order once to start. So my question is how long will feminized seeds last stored? And is the high priced shit really that much better? They are cannabis cup winners and all I just want to see if the old saying is true "you get what you pay for".
Lets say I have ideal growing condition is a 10 dollar seed much better than a 2 dollars seed. Or is it more about it being a rare strain over being a more potent strain?

More expensive seeds usually mean better genetics and a better plant if you're buying from a reputable seed bank. That's not saying a 20 dollar seed is 10 times better than a 2 dollar seed, but you can bet that it will be better.

You can find good genetics in bagseed just a luck of the draw...if it came from something good.....buying seeds you kinda know what your getting...still not a guarantee you'll get the pheno in the pic.....but better chances than bagseed.....To me it is way worth it......I got some whiteberry from paradise seeds I ordered from attitude that are looking very good....and you can store seeds for a pretty long time as long they are in a good environment.....

Honestly, a lot of the prices have to do with popularity, (supply and demand), rather than one being better than another. I'm sure there are exceptions - some expensive strains that are better than others - but it's definately not the rule. I usually order from The Attitude, but I've been getting feminized seeds from Greenhouse Seed Company - I've been very happy with the quality of what I have thus far, and they are relatively inexpensive.

I kinda of thought of the supply and demand thing is the reason I asked so thanks for confirming some of what I thought I will still go for some of the "top shelf" stuff and some mids as far as price goes to see.

I'm still wondering about feminized shelf life because I know nothing of the process and was wondering if it shortens the window of viable seeds or if there is not difference in regular and fem being stored that is.
