Question about drying process

So I have a good majority of my harvest hanging up in the tent with no light, 430 cfm fan carbon filter combo exhaust, and a small oscillating fan on the ground level with no air directly blowing on the buds

I started cutting Saturday and had to take a break yesterday so they've been hanging roughly 3 days. One day humidity dipped in the 30s but for the rest it's stayed 40-50 with temps 65-75. Everything should be good but some of the buds are feeling more crispy than they should so i might have to put them in jars sooner.

My question is what's the danger in putting them in sooner? I know they're prone to mold but If I keep an eye on their humidity I should be fine right? I'm doing the stem test and its just bending but the buds are feeling crispy and I don't want to let it ride dry it too fast and ruin the flavor with no way to fix it

Keep the jars closed for 24 hours an check, if wet let it dry some more... You wnt it going in dry.. But not brittle.. If you put it in dry but spongy then it will take forever to cure cuz youre still drying it but too slow..... I wait until one of the bud leaves... Not sugar leaves and not fan leaf, the one in the middle...can be tugged off.. Then i jar it...

So let's work this out, eh? Drying takes moisture from the bud and perspires it outwards. Curing evens out the moisture within the buds. So if you have some bud that's slightly too wet and then cure it you'll probably just be looking at a longer cure. I mean, really tho; if the stem snaps and they look and feel ready to smoke up then they should begin the curing process. GFL!

I agree with Zubey91. I've jarred some thinking "maybe that's just a little to damp but..." and then I worry about it getting moldy. (It does take a long time to dry this way). Anyone tried a in jar hygrometer? I thought about going with that this year.
