Question about containment

Hi,

I'm brand new here and if I do something incorrect or inconsiderate please tell me and I'll correct it.

I live in Maine and I am looking to build a large scale "marijuana cultivation facility" in preparation for the most likely recreational legalization in 2016. I have decided to use a bubbleponics system, and I've a big question. Does this system scale well? It seems to work great for 2-6 plants but what if I am growing 150-200 plants?

Do your research. Most grows that size utilize ebb and flood systems. Tables. Or some use NFT systems but they are more expensive. KISS.

Oh and don't start any 200 count grows planning on legal recreational if you intend to sell or even keep it. WA - legal to buy, illegal to grow still. AK -my home. Now it's 6 frigging plant limit PER HOUSEHOLD! Not per legal age adult but per a residence address. Commercial licenses are $1000 a year plus you have to have video surveillance of the entire operation 24/7 with no blind spots allowed. That is for under 500 square feet of grow space. $5K for over that. OR - 4 plants total! CO - same commercial requirements (AK copied them). Legal rec ain't no cakewalk or open bank account. But I suggest still you set up an ebb and flood system with a few plants and practice.

150-200 plants, you should be asking more difficult questions if that is your goal. You're not going to become a commercial grower overnight and you probably won't have many questions left when you are ready to go that scale. And to answer your question, I couldn't imagine 150-200 dwc buckets. That seems like it would be a complete pain in the ass.

108 is the max in Maine, as a Caregiver. I too, am in Maine. I recommend a couple of smaller scale grows before jumping into something that big.
