Question about cold temperatures

For the first 6 weeks or so of flowering my Sterling Haze sativa, the temps have been cold. I mean really cold. MAYBE 50 with the lights on and as low as 30 with the lights off. I have finally made the appropriate corrections and the grow room is between 70 and 80. My question is, the plant wasn't producing much bud due to these cold temps. Did this extend the of flowering time, or just bud growth? And can I expect the plant to fully recover?

You should be ok MJ is very temp tolorant, but ya will probably extend your flower time

best temp for flowering is 70 to 75 IMO get rid of that 80, my temps drop to 68 at night 72 w/lights on

gotcha. I've read something about the plant needs a significant temp drop of like 15 to 20 degrees at night in order to trigger a hormonal response that helps the buds grow bigger. Ever heard of anything like that?
