question about auto

I guess if you plant them while the sun is only up for 12 hours, no way to control the light hours if you're outside. Most autos can be planted indoors and outdoors.

I'm interested in Autos, but can't figure out the reason to grow them.Yeah they finish in 3 months or so is what I'm told. But with regular plants I control when they finish. Can anyone explain the advantages there must be something I'm overlooking ? Thanks!
ok I wanted to answer your question from the perspective of someone that used to grow 12/12 from seed and now grows autos... (still do some photo's in a separate place)

If growing from seed 12/12 my plants used to take 3-4 weeks to start budding, then 8-9 weeks of budding...that's 11-13 weeks...if we say 12 weeks average that's 4.3 harvest a year...
If growing autos my plants show sex at 2-3 weeks and bud for another 5-6...that's 8-9 weeks... if we say 8 weeks average that's 6.5 harvest a year...

people want to argue clones are faster I disagree... If you bud rooted clones 12/12 you still have 8-9 weeks of budding..
start autos when your last crop is at week 5 so there sexed and ready for budding by week 8... then you have 5 week turnaround...
you could have bud every 8 weeks or every 5.. in other words 6.5 harvest a year or 10.4 harvest a year...

now as for as potency and such.. there's good and bad strains in autos and there's good and bad in photo.. just because its auto don't make it shit and vice verse because its a photo don't make it great...all I can say is I grow 2 autos that me & mine love...
