You will get no yield like that. Your seedlings will just keep stretching . . .

then i guess ill rearange the cage and put the pots up high on something natural, maybe blocks of wood or clay pots.
i may add a tube flourescent if i can find a fixture

Yeah just prop them up a bit, CFL's really don't penetrate far, you could probably get one of those small HID's made for fish tanks too.

they have sprouted

hey newgrowth they did stretch horribly. but i put them on top of bricks and now they are about 1inch from the light. but let me remind you im not trying to grow any bud. if it happens then great, but if not i really dont care. i have plenty of seeds to spare. heres some pics of the stretched crappers and some pics of Querkle.

you think i should add any nutes? last week i changed the soil and added some MG perlite which already has some NPK in it.

Nah I would get them out of those shot glasses though, put them in something with more drainage. If that stuff you added has some ferts in it they should be fine for now.

well the shot glasses dry out pretty fast and i dont have room ontop of those bricks for bigger cups. ill have to try and make some more room. i was thinkin the same about the nutes... thanx.

i picked up Querkle today for the first time. shes actually was really chill, but she does like to climb up. as in up my arm trying to crawl onto my head. i also took out one of the shotglass plants and planted it outside, it had a nice white root system. the other shotglass plant i took out and put in a small gatorade bottle. they are looking ok and i gave them a bit of organic thrive alive, awsome blossom, and root66. heres some Querkle crawling on me. ill post some of the plants tomarrow... too tired.

What a beautiful spider. Never seen a pink toed one before yours.
I've been working on the case since we last spoke and I've got the temps right down so a spider would be snug. The only headache is getting the humidity just right for both the herb and the spider. 50 - 60% RH is the aim and I've got it to 45 now.
