Quarantine grow

Just started my first grow.
My set up
Tent - 3x3x6 viparspectra
Light - viparspectra par600 led
4 inch exhaust filter and fan
Two small fans
Black gold organic
Humboldts secret nutrients
Four 5 gallon mesh pots
PH test probe

Currently just put germinated seeds in soil yesterday. Using regular seeds. Growing 4 in 5 gallon pots using Scrog.
Strains are Sin city Dream n Sour
and Bogs Bogglegum.
Will be putting small humidifier in the middle or maybe vent in through 4" duct to bring up humidity.
Looking forward to learning more and growing some good bud. Got illinois medical card and those dispensary prices are high!
I've been reading the forums and watching YouTube videos. Lots of good stuff!

The cost at the dispensary was a big motivation, we smoke a lot. It's also a good distraction for me to focus on besides the shut down of the world!

Been watching "seed to stoned" and "Cannabis life TV".
Seedlings have broke the surface this morning! Well half of them.

IL prices are ridiculous my dude. $70+ for an 8th is NUTS! Setup looks good but aren't the lights a bit far? I've read here and through multiple other forums it should be around 18 to 24 inches away throughout its life.

I have the viparspectra par600 led.
I did a search and peeps used same light on seedlings. Said 30“ with all lights on, another person with same light agreed. So that's what I'm at.
According to the specs I'm at about 550 par with good coverage in the 3x3.

I replied below.
I did search for my model and that's what I found on the forum.
The prices are crazy here in Illinois. Just got an email that my medical card is extended another year, no fee. Corona bonus.

Bad ass on the med card renewal! Grew up in IL so when we go visit family we hit the rec/med shop. Prices high enough there to keep the black market going for A WHILE! Especially when rec customers are only allowed to buy certain things rather than full menu access with limited weight option.

I get no taxes and growing 5 plants benefit with card. I haven't smoked since 94 until like a year ago. Shits strong nowadays! I moved to the virgin islands in 2016, went thru two category 5 hurricane in 17. Had a few joints of gorilla glue a buddy left me while visiting. I kept it just in case after 23 years sober. I fired up a joint after two months of post apocalyptic conditions with now power or cell phone. Joint kicked my ass! Haha. Now I'm back in Chicago.
