Can't be replicated in many forms of hydro at all; one big reason I'm switching is that there's no rhizosphere in RDWC; it's continually washed away.

Like everyone says supplement your sodium lights with u.v. and the power veg bulbs work great for that. I also do some drought stressing and don't water a few days before I cut them. Fermentation and sweat curing is a must and curing in turkey bags gives you superior smoke. Genetics are everything. Malawi cobs and pressing bud into a brick can also increase potency and changes the taste. Exposing your bud to U.V. light for a few minutes throughout the drying and before sweating will kill mold spores. Colombian and mexican sativas are my favorite.

It's not just lights but also style that affect the scale

You'll get better quality with T5's , next will be LED's which are in the middle because they also add yield HPS on the right for quantity

You can also mix bulbs to get a bit of both like adding UV to an HPS grow

What about mh and hps together? Well I prefer quality but not if it means 1 oz per plant cuz I'll smoke that in two days 2-4 oz is decent I will look into the led and t5 maybe a mixture of both? Or a mix of all 3 hps/t5/led would that work lol not looking into the UV seems like a lot of bad can come from it compared to the good

Your lookin at things wrong an ounce of one hitter weed trumps 6 ounces of 10 hitter weed all day I have a guy I give joints to, he cuts them into quarters and then shares them with others and yeppers a 1/4 joint of my bud will slay 3 or 4 regular smokers

I'm not the usual smoker bro I'm the guy that enjoys the feeling of lighting one up even it puts me on my ass and I fall asleep I will roll another and another every time I wake up lol

The thing with usin T5's that makes such a difference besides the being able to create the spectrum, is diffused even lighting as opposed to single point spread lighting

@ttystikk were talking bout the COB lights at our recent gathering this week and once the COB folks get a few clues, it's gonna be Katy bar the door

Got a feelin tty will lead that charge 8)

We know about sulfur helping terpene production but what do you think about iron? I have heard iron rich red dirt gives you better weed.

most common (I have seen) for hydrangeas is aluminum sulfate but copper sulfate would prolly work as well

I am more interested in its effect on potency,,,,,, purple does not get ya high 8)
