Quality auto-flowering strains

Hi guys,

I am new to posting, I've been reading the website for about 3 years now and a lot of you helped me through my first couple of grows without even knowing it. I come with a question I see it a lot, but I am curios, has anyone grown any potent auto flowering strains?

I don't care about yields that much I would like a strain that can hit the body and the head. All the auto flowering starins I've grown (Vertigo , Auto Wappa, blueberry) have a milky high to them they hit the head and then transition to a sleeping faze in the body.

I have a 400 W Hps so the light quality is not the problem. Any advice or sugestions? Maybe I've been growing poor quality strains me thinks.

That heady high and then sleepy transition sounds like the NL auto lol. Just look for high thc autos. Like critical + auto from dinafem or something along those lines. I mean imo, if I had the means to grow a photo strain, I'd go with the photo, just cause you're not limited by anything unlike autos. Good luck.

I heard a lot of good things about dinafem, I'll have look into the Critical+ thx for the info. Any other suggestions? I am planning to start my next grow in about a month so I still have some time to decide.

I feel you man, I would like to grow photo strains as well but I lack the space :(

What are your space specifications? If you can grow an auto in any space, you can grow a photo period plant. Just gotta choose an indica dominant strain. Or 100% indica if you want. Imagine pc grows, they take photo period plants and grow in a place no more than 20" high. Imo, photo plants are the best option, b/c it def saves money. (can run 12/12 vs 18/6, 20/4, 24/0. And you get bigger buds for the most part. Only thing is it might take a tad bit longer. But if you're set on autos, the easiest way to find decent strains is find a photo strain you like a lot, and most likely, there's gonna be an auto version of it. Only thing you have to do after that is find a reputable breeder and you're good. Some decent breeders with autos are... Barney's farm, Nirvana, G13, BC Bud Depot, Sweet seeds, etc.

What's the advantage to autos? I mean, why bother if the potency isn't there and you can choose to flower any strain whenever you want by flipping to 12/12?

True I just harvest my auto green posion and its lacking tricromes and from my first g posion harvest I had the same head high then next thing I'm waking up and I'm not using cheap nutrients AN line up and I still think I went wrong far as feeding them the buds aren't all that dense but will do till outdoor finishes
Autos aren't worth the time or money IMO

I appreciate the positive and very informative comment. The only reason I go for autos is height, I only have about 2 ft with a 400w HPS. I could go for a photo strain that is not to big but packs a punch, I don't care about yields

So does a SCROG and lights at 24 make a difference? Or are you just as well to sog and 20/4?

I've heard it both ways, that the SCROG wasn't worth the time as far as yield. And that lights at 24 give a better grow.

any comment? I have my Bubblicious seeds sprouting right now and this will be my first Auto grow. I only had these seeds bbecause Nirvana made a mistake...would like to make the best of it. Anybody else grow Bubblicious?
