I pulled the trigger on a tent / light combo. ( 48" x 48" x 80")
The light is the Viparspectra 1,200W dimmable w/ veg and bloom switches.
I'm finishing a grow under a light my friend gave me - just a QB with an on/off switch - so "features" are new to me!
Questions:
1. Veg Switch - Looks like it just turns on the white / blue --- is it worth using veg?
2. Distance - site info says 18" above canopy. Sounds OK, but opinions are welcome - I figure I'll be spending time finding the sweet spot for this light.
3. Dimming - My experience with LED lighting tells me that LED Diodes can be fiddly with variable power - causing blinking and shortened diode service life.
Anything I missed?
