Hey all, my friends grow area is a tent, 4x4 sq and 6.5 high
His current light is 400w electronic/digital with Metal Halide
and he will be using a 400w "5525 more lumen" Super HPS bulb 55,525 vs 50,000???

Anyway he has a 4" tall Oringal haze, just one. he was given it as a "sample"
and was told it was feminized. anyway
he asked me and i didnt know so here goes:

Does this train respond well to topping? When should this occur?
the guy told him this strain will triple height rather then just double
and wants to get the lights going for flowering asap.
Should he even bother or just flower it as is.
He said, and i quote "fuck the yeild dood, its one plant. i wanna use that space for other shit"

with all that in mind, what do the pros. or experianced growers with "original haze" recommend.

We haven't tried Seedsman's version, but we've grown original Haze. Seven inch tall plants topped three times and growing six stalks will reach over six feet tall by the end of flowering. They'll take over 110 days to finish as well. Original haze will have about a foot of stem between each node and doesn't yield especially well. All that aside, it can be some of the best weed in the world as far as I'm concerned. True Hazes should be grown under a 1000w to both keep the height down as much as possible and to have strong enough light to reach the lower nodes.

Holy crap, for real? he needs to get that shit flowering NOW then, its already at 4"
I saw his plant though, a foot between each node doesnt seam realistic as its 4" tall and has 6 nodes as it is.
Maybe its just seedsman genes?
I was there when the guy told him flat out though, dont expect lots.
once i tell him 110 days though he may thrash it, then again if you say its the best weed on earth he may not.
Well Ill pass this info along, including a flyer to get some internet access heh :D

The space between nodes doesn't get that big until flowering. Haze has a well known stretch as soon as they start flowering. 12/12 begins and they jump up immediately. It grows normally during veg.

This is all from experience with original Haze many years ago. The Seedsman variety may be more forgiving.
