Hey this is my first post but not my first grow, i am two and a half weeks in and having a serious pythium problem. I have not come across this before but after alot of research i have bleach cleaned res twice cut back roots once (i know it not good but the snot/slime was caked over the roots), it came back within hours!! I am now losing the will and after the root cut bk and res sterilize a couple days ago its back and i've conditioned with dutch master zone and cut roots again and added beneficial bacteria hopefully this kills the pathogen infestation, she is doing well considering the stress she might have received during this past week any advice would be appreciated heres a pic of her she is an emerald triangle royal purple kush she smells amazing and i dont want to cut her down if it can be helped also a pic of the roots i cut back after de-sliming.

Hi Snaps im using mycorrhyzae fungi with weak sugar peak nutes and dutch master zone conditioner, theres 1air stone in the res its a 20 litre tank maybe another air stone might b needed?! If worse came to worse could i take the 6 main cola sites as clones or would this transfer the problem ie should i cut my losses literally lol

What kind of airstone and pump?

The air stone needs to be directly under the roots. Any roots outside the air column are likely to suffer.

Air stones clog. Never reuse. I change them out when I start a plant and again when in go to flower. Multiple stones is good as long as the pump can keep up.

Only use the commercial pumps from active aqua and use their large cylinder stones. Only use half the ports on the pump to keep those stones rocking the air.

This the pump i got the air stone is round maybe the picks of my res might help, the roots that are left after cutting back look healthy not penetrating the basket yet only slightly as i had to sterilize clay pebbles and basket.DSC_0080.JPGDSC_0081.JPG DSC_0080.JPG DSC_0081.JPG

For 1 plant seems a bit OTT, six stones in 1 bucket?! Or have u got a 6 bucket system? Ive seen those pumps, set up a six bucket for a pal with tank and refill timer.
