Pyramid Seeds - FRESH CANDY - 250w Dual Spec Growlux - 40 x 40 x 120 Tent - First Gro

this is my first grow journey ever and I am very happy already,

i have one FRESH CANDY seed from pyramid seeds and thought I would post up here how I'm going and see if I can get any tips,

my equipment:

40cm x 40cm x 120cm grow tent
250w deal Spectrum Growlux Hps
250w ballast
biobizz all mix soil
biobizz bloom for 12-12 period
And plenty of love.

Aha cool the photos uploaded ... An here is one more, I'm just ops out to LST the girl, do you think I can now or isit too early? She is now 1 week old

Is a week old too early to LST?

technically you could do it as a seedling with no true leaves and it would grow as you tell it to. you can do it now, you can wait a week, whatever floats your boat. if you let it go to the second set of trues it will be thicker at the stock which will hinder its flexibility at the base level, but the tops are always trainable

Thankyou for the post, I'm gonna keep up to date on here so role an see how she is doing, pyramid seeds say she's can be fruited in 60 days so does that means 60 days 12-12? Can't mean 60 days from seed..



Also I am going to be downgrading my lamp today, from 250w hps to 125w cfl, due to cost of electricity here and also I've decided I would like my first grow to be cfl due to heat issues, is the change from 250w hps dual spec to 125w blue cfl gonna shock the plant?

its averaging at around 85 - 87f

Not without some kind of burn goin' on...unless you have co2 then you're alright. Honestly...anything above 80 and you'll have some problems usually....above 90...guaranteed problems.

Hey Buddy -- I'm exactly 1 week in with this girlie ---- my cab temp is averaging 86f ---- I'm using a 120 cfl for veg but I'm in a small fish tank. She loves her space so far --- but i have noticed that she is running like a bean pole. Nothing really to share right now but I'm a week or two behind you anyway. Good luck with her!
