Putting my window plant to good use is it worth it

Hi gents, i dont post much just an avid reader really.I have a plant grown from a bag seed which has been perched on my window for a while (in the uk) is it worth putting it into production.Does slow grow in natural light effect my budding potential? The plant has had no nutes it just sitting there happily in some good quality fast draining soil. It was thinking of 4 28 watt cfls for a while then switch to something a bit more substantial for flowering. Is it worth doing.

All I can tell you is that I nailed a mega-valuable super exotic by growing out a bag seed and realizing it's potential before I killed the plant. I harvested it, re-vegged the plant and now have an "exclusive" strain in my pocket. I call it "DogPaint".

I should mention that this seed was from master grown med-bag, not just some street weed.

That would be the dream. I have noticed that the stems of the leaves are showing a nice purple hue which got me going. Some of those purple plants in the gallery look superb. I cant remember what the smoke was like i was absolutly boinked at the time

I've been saving "special" seeds since the 60's and it's a first for me, after 40+ years of looking for something.
I had no idea what, but I found it!

i had an ornamental white widow on my window sill for about 3 months, got a 250 watt hps and stuck my plant under it for 8 to 9 weeks, harvested over 2 oz from that one, and let me tell you it was a runt for 3 months old but got decent results. Ireland here myself.

Good to hear danny looks like my little plant is getting set to work. I'm a bit worried about the size its a little over a foot tall at the min, probley gonna be a bit of a beast after another 8 weeks of veg then flowering. any advice for controlling growth i have read up about topping and bending the stems (not sure of the correct term)

Maybe tie the main stalk down to the planter at as much of an angle as you can safely manage?
This would help promote side growth. Just keep the top down and the rest should cooperate.

yeah topping is really straight foward, just cut the very newest growth from the main stalk. this will also let the other branches and budsites catch up with the main stalk for an even canopy, teres loads of diagrams explaining this better. just search topping.

lovely thanks for info gents i think i'll try and tie the stalk down for now and give topping a go when i have read up about it properly

However, if you top a taller plant, it might be a good idea to support the "Y" that will form, by wrapping/taping. Colas can easily get heavy enough to split the taller plants main stalk over time.
