Purple trichomes

Never had trichomes come out purple like this.

So why is it that when they are off of the flower, they are still the same color and if you look in the other pic the background is green?

Not a color specialist but I believe they're in the same hue area... purple is a red red blue so on. That's a beautiful flower though
