Cold weather ? These are in El Nino warm climate . Those are nice you got there !! Makes me want to buy some seeds . I got the reserva privada og feminized right now .
Definitely not cold by Alaska standards but yeah temps last summer ranged from 50-80 degrees F. But I don't believe cool temps are responsible for the color as none of the 5 other outdoor plants I had going purpled at all. None of the others were Dark Devils.

Yeah I've had some plants in the same cool environment and not purple it just depends on the strain these Blackwater have Mendo Purps crossed in them so the ones that have that influence are the most purple. We can get 90 degree weather lately. In February .

Opinions needed!? I need to find a solid purple strain. I've done large amounts of research and have a couple in mind. TGA PlushBerry or Cali Con Purple Chem. Any fellow growers have personal experince? Hermes? Yield? Purple Coloring? Taste? Potency? Also any and every purple strain that comes to mind ? Maybe suggestions/reviews from other purple strains.
I ran Purple Mayhem from Gooeybreeders. It smelled like sweet grape coolaid. It was bright purple with pink under the leaves. The purple actually brightened up as it dried. I grew it in 90 degree days and 82 degree in the dark. No cold temps. As soon as the hairs appeared and the flowers started, they were purple right from day 1. I grow lots of great strains including chaos gg cross. And I love this strain. Great meds. And a crowd pleaser....20160406_164901.jpg 20160406_225949.jpg 20160406_164901.jpg 20160406_225949.jpg
