Stems turuning purple - nute burn? Ph level? Both maybe? I am grwoing in AG if that helps. Please help b4 they die. I have been posting in the AG section and no replies. so in a panic i flushed the reservior in case they are over-fed, at this point i couldnt just leave it like it was. My plants are about 11 in tall, stems are about the diameter of a finger - they were doing great but we had to relocate and that meant diff water supply.
What nutes should iu use?

Thanks in advance....

what light cycle you using? it could just be cold when the lights are off or the res temp might be too low.
if your temps drop when the lights are off , below 68f you will have some purpling of stems.

Yea like Zed said, purple can be caused by temp, and it can also be normal. I have a few purple stems on a few of my main fan leaves, but it didn't affect anything. At least in the grow faq I read that you shouldn't panic. A lot of plants do that normally I guess. But first rule out the phosphorous deficiency, then try adjusting the temp.

Dudes thanks SO much for the quick inputs. Guess i had just been posting in the wrong place huh.
OK - well - being the noob grower, I was told to go ahead and 12/12 these. I really didnt think they were ready to flower - not much there TO flower, ya know. They are too tall and not bushy enough but i dont know how to change this now. ( I made a post entitled 'Clone and start over?' - Might help you see what mess this is in)
I HAVE had fluctualtions of temp in there (having to hide them when someone in particular comes over). But, see, this one plant really started with the purple symptoms and it is all but dead now.
I have the temp issue resolved.
Could you name a nute that shouldnt hurt but might take care of this ?
Preesheeyate it.....

Most of my plants have purple stems too, I wish they had purple bud.

Don't worry, as bwinn said above, if the plant looks healthy then don't worry.
