purple stems

so my seeds just sprouted (first grow), and 3 outta the 4 have nice green stems with there first leaves showing, the 4th stem is purple and thin, and just fell over tonight, no support. I just transplanted them 4days ago from root plugs to light warrior medium. They have been under 24watt t5 since in the soil for 18/6..I did notice last night they were pretty dry, so i watered them accordingly. Could there have been too much moisture when I transplanted them causing root rot? any ideas?

Im wondering if I didnt bury the rooter plugs deep enough? I covered the plugs with a loose amount of medium, enought to cover when watered without displaying plug..

some strain have purple stems and some don't.. at this stage just consentrate on keeping it green. just water with ph'ed water for the 1st couple weks. when time to feed start at 1/4 to 1/2 strength.i run 24/0 with a fan blowing on them all the time. helps strngthen the stems

It's nothing really. only way to tell is to pull on it very softly. If it naps off, bad from the start. If nothing happens and the whole plant moves when you pulled it, it's healthy, but will probably die soon. us a foilar spray.

Well dude its hard to say with out pics. It could be a few things that caused this issue. The plant could have been just bad all together, some times there are seeds that sprout and thats about as far as it goes... One other this is that you could have experienced " damping off" with it too. Google that to long to explain.

Did you actually remove the plant from the plug, or did you transplant it to the LW? I know that sounds like a noob question but this would cause what you are talking about as well. Either way it goes Pics are always gonna help. Good luck and hope to maybe see some pics to better help you

I transfered the plug directly into the soil since the roots were physically showing through? Is this not right? My first sprouter, the one that is now leaning (purple stem), almost looked like it was streching for light? Its been 1-2inches under 24watt t5 for 4days. mmmm maybe its no biggie, and its just a bad seed, but i have 2 other plants that have 1inch+ stem length before the first set of sprouted leaves. Are my stem stretching, or is about 1inch normal? thanks

You did it correct by leaving it in the plug, never remove it unless you know exactly how to dredge the roots. this is only done when going from starting in soil and then transferring to some sort of hydro. I would say that it is a bad seedling and one loss isnt too bad. The others that are about an inch and then leaves is good. You want a little stem there to form so when the fans blow they build strength. Just give them some TLC and they will do good. the less you mess with them the less you stress them......
