Purple stems everywhere and dying bottom leaves

So I was feeding my girls about 200 starting out and they liked it but looked hungry but when I upped to 500 they burned.. at this point I’m gonna try the Lucas’ formula and just use the FloraNova Bloom at 8mL/G with some cal mag at 4mL/G and see if they like that formula better:. Only thing is 8mL/G put my ppm up like 650 resulting in a 874ppm.. isn’t that too much for the 4th week in veg/58th day from seed? Also why are my stems so purple?? Even a few calyx turned purplish/brown I’m just a little nervous, everything was just going so well!

Read about Lucas. Or maybe you left out the Micros in your description. You have potassium deficiency at present.
Thanks I’m looking into it, what makes you thinks it’s potassium? I’m trying to get better at diagnosing the deficiency, I’ve heard Nitrogen too.

You're thinking of lucas with 2 of the 3 parts of the flora series. With floranova lucas becomes a 1 part formula.
Yep I’m just using flora nova bloom originally I was using the 3 part flora series at 1/4 strength but idk no matter what I tried I feel like my plants don’t really like it or I’m not doing something right so I figured I’d try the one part at 8mL/G

This is a good thing actually, you recognize that your plant is telling you its not happy.

Just remember, only try a single remedy at a time and give it time to show a reaction.

Might be worth it to check the roots on one of them, I'd look at the one that's lime green, just to rule out root issues. Like if they are slimy or small rootball, could be indicators.

I had my girls get cold roots only one night and they went from pic 1 to pic 2.

This progressed over 3-4 days, after much reading and asking, I diagnosed as P deficiency due to N lockout from cold roots.

I'm using a different grow, in Miracle-Gro moisture control, feeding 24-8-16 plant food at half strength every 2 weeks, otherwise tap water ( PH ~7.0 / 200ppm). The fix for my girls was to give them a feed of high P.

Sucks but dealt with it, they are bouncing back, took 3 weeks. I now keep a heat mat under them at 68F/20C.

Not saying that this is your issue, just sharing my experience.

Good Luck!
