Purple stems and viens of leaves

Hey guy's,

I have some sagmartha cheesewreck clones that are 3 weeks into veg in roots organic soil with dolomite and perlite added. I am using roots soul synthetic line at 1/2 strength- soul grow,infinity and amino aide in r/o water ph of 6.3/6.4. As the days pass I notice my girls main stems getting some purple viens running up them and a few days following that I notice the stems to the fan leaves are also turning deep purple that goes into the viens of the leaves. Most of the color is on the undersides of the leaves but some of this is visible from the top also. I have grown this strain before and do not recall the purple. I will post pics soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated

how much dolomite did you use? purple stems can be a sign of cal/mag def. with r/o your removing cal/mag, but the dolomite should take care of that if you added enough. you may need to top dress with some more.

This looks perfectly normal to me, if it turns to a really dark reddish brown colour and starts getting to the leaves veins even worse, then you could have a problem
One thing i have found though is that plants fed a good amount of Nitrogen tend to have less of the red stem business.

im in the same boat! would love an answer to my purple stems. i go from cloner to fox farms ocean forest in party cups ( stems really turn purple here)
once i switch from party cups to 1 gal smart pots, (fox farms ocean forest) the plants seem to do much better, all new growth comes out green,..


during late veg, and flower, i see healthier stems..

I tried Fox farms happy forest, and all my plants turn really unhealthy.. From clone to party cups, stems turned very purple, and bottom foilage working its way up all eventually turns yellow and falls off, like its flowering.. but its only vegging!!
