So...I'm on day 45 of flower...20191224_122058.jpg20191224_122103.jpg20191224_122110.jpg I put the digital scope on her and saw this...S20191224_0003.jpgS20191224_0009.jpg What I think is a nice amount of amber. So I started my 2 week flush...was I wrong...it's supposed to have a 50-60 day flower cycle.
thanks,
Merry Christmas and happy new year to all.

How so....I'm just gonna give straight water every 2 days just like my feeding schedule.

Starving your plant isnt any good. Flushing is a full on myth especially if you know anything about plants. Don’t go by breeder packs they’re never right. they’re based on near perfect conditions and a host of other factors. A plant will be done when they’re done and yours are far from it.

Looks like minimum 2 weeks, little early to start straight water unless you are organic, or partial organic like me. There is so much debate about flushing or giving straight water for 2 weeks, or feeding straight through, to I have even seen some say over feed at the end...wth. I figure I have been screwing with nature through the entire grow, i'm just going to let it do what it is supposed to do naturally at the end. I feed partial organic, and will continue and just feed the microbes the last 2-3 weeks. So far everything is working ok, only 2 weeks since 12/12 switch though

My 2c is id be taking it passed 70days, i would think theyll be smashing weight on from here on in. I read something about trichs and pistils can change due to conditions other than ripeness i could be wrong though, looks bloody fantastic bro nice job

Yeah you got more than 2 weeks if that is actually Purple Punch. The flower time is likely not from light switch, and if it is they are lying or just harvesting early. If they give that time from pistil appearance then it may be fairly close

3 weeks easy ... continue bloom feeding- do not cap her across the knees by flushing. Plant is far from ready.
Exactly. I just took 25 cuttings, if they root i'm going to do everything the same and flush half at the end, see who comes out on top, I think I know the answer

I'll start by saying you have a great looking grow going.

"Flushing" has been controversial for quite some time, and I'm sure it will continue.
My feeling is if your in soil (especially if your organic) flushing isn't necessary.

Now if your heavily feeding "synthetic" nutrients, it may be beneficial.

You never mentioned your grow media or inputs.
If your growing in coco coir, and go to water only, you will be starving them pretty quickly.
If you were in a "super soil" and go to water only, they will coast along a lot longer.

I have old eyes. I see mainly clear trichs.
They will eventually get milky or cloudy, and then will start going amber.
Usually if you are careful and watchful you will end up with around 5% clear trichomes, 10% amber and 85% cloudy trichomes.

Like I said, old eyes, maybe I'm missing it, but I think you have a ways to go.

Great job so far!
